Who we are

In the aftermath of the “Black Saturday” on October 7th, Israeli citizens all over the word rushed to mobilize efforts in support of IDF soldiers as well as families of the Gaza Envelope. Inspired by the tremendous outreach Dalia Daskal, a native born Israeli, felt compelled to find a way to engage the Jewish and Israeli community in the Tri-State area in a project that offers financial assistance to the inhabitants of the Kibbutzim.

Families experienced unspeakable horrors and were completely uprooted in their lives.

These families are in need of urgent help and assistance.

Dalia collaborated with her close friend Orna Willis, also a native born Israeli, a talented and featured local artist (adornbyorna.com). The two came up with the idea to sell jewelry and channel all proceeds to Kibbutz Kerem Shalom in the "Gaza Envelope".

Our group, Friends of Kerem Shalom,  is a group of dedicated women who gather together to painstakingly make these pieces of jewelry designed by Orna. They all find comfort in being together in these difficult times, and in giving from their hearts and from their hands. They are women from all walks of life, all ages, a diverse group with a common goal, to help the people of the Gaza envelope rebuild their homes and their lives on the land they love.

All pieces consist of high-grade semi-precious stones and crystals, and include silver and gold plated charms inscribed with meaningful messages in Hebrew or English.

We would like to thank professional photographer Baruch Schwartz (baruchphoto.com) who volunteered his professional service and time for this service.
